Chess is being played everywhere, by everyone, you just don’t know it. And if you do know it, you are of course ahead of the game and winning. This is a scene from the movie, In Search of Bobby Fisher. I clipped this here because, IMO, its one of the best scene of all time. Right now, in the world, good and evil are playing a game of chess. God is in control, and satan is not liking it one bit. He is lashing out, trying to take everyone down with him. He plays the game and cheats, lies, deceives, tempts. He goes after the low hanging fruit and even the elect. In these last days of this age, he will sacrifice any pawn to save himself from being locked up in hell for a time. He thinks he is winning when he is destroying lives, taking chess pieces off the board, but he is really only losing more with each act of evil. He looks at his chess pieces and thinks he has control of the game on earth, but the truth is God is in control, always has been, always will be. Spoiler alert, God wins.
Are you aware, and are you also spiritually aware of the warfare going on all around you? Wars and rumors of wars. Not just wars with bullets and bombs, but wars of artificial intelligence, cyber technology, space wars, wars for power, control, digital wars, currency wars, financial wars. Too many conflicts to count. So many, many people just do everything they can to stay oblivious to it all. The only way they can still smile and go about their day is to simply not know about it.
The media, main stream and alternatives alike, are doing everything they can do get us to click on their bait, watch their negative fear mongering news casts. They play on those with boring nothing lives, looking for some kind of stimuli even if its bad, and the more bad the better.
But one thing they accidentally got right here is to stay focused on something other than all those distractions, lies, and deceitful acts. The one thing that is true among all the AI manufactured false media and content is Jesus. While the powers that be play their games of chess with our lives in the balance, we do not have to fear or even watch the game, we can simply keep our eyes on Jesus, and our ears ready to hear the god news of the gospel. Read the written Word, listen for the Living Word, but Trust only that and Him and nothing else. If satan will try to deceive even the elect, how much more vulnerable are you, sheep of the fold and flock. How much more will he come after you. Pray, meditate on Him, spend time with Him, receive His Holy Spirit, and have His power in you to resist evil, resist the games being played, stay True to the Truth, which is that God loves us and has a home for us in heaven. Jesus said, remain in me and I will remain in you. Believe in Jesus, Trust in Jesus, and no matter what you hear or see or smell or taste of evil, He will keep you from the sting of death. John 11:25, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” Its time you did. God bless you all.
