Revelation 13:18 says, “This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.” Do you want to know its meaning? How can you know? How does someone receive a Revelation from the Father? To receive a revelation from God, it requires a few things of you. First know that it does not come from you, your mind, even your imagination, no matter how much you want to know it. Second, ask honestly, why do you want to know it? Is not His Grace and your Faith sufficient for you to live each day fulfilled pleasing Him? Do you want a revelation for your needs, or His? Why would He want you to know such things? Maybe it is better for you if you do not know. Do we really know what is best for ourselves? True, sincere prayer can answer this for you.
Most do not pray, most are impatient, have not prayed adequately, have not searched and prepared their hearts, loose patience, and do not have the Relationship and the trustworthy heart required by God for Him to share His Truths, His Mysteries, the Future. For that is what a revelation is, something given to us by God Himself, for His purpose, not to enhance your Relationship, the Oneness, between Him and you, but it is a result of that Trust being as complete as it is. A revelation is given when we desire to receive it, and when He knows the receiver can be Trusted with it for His purposes not their own.
John received revelations from the Father, and shared many. But I suppose there were many that he did not share, did not write down, and perhaps never really understood well enough to put into words. Revelations are Spirit, and Spirit given, received by Faith, some being not easily understood, and so cannot be shared. Some are given, and are kept in the heart, until such time as God can give more, so that they become clear enough be shared, or such that the Spirit gives the authority for it to be shared and told to others. I say this because I have received many in this fashion. I think you can tell by the way I am explaining this, is because I have not just knowledge, but experience, and so know how revelations work.
So here we have a mystery that has lived for thousands of years, the number 666, and this sentence in Revelation 13:18. But the bible has another 666 that you may not have noticed or recognized as related to this. Many relate the Revelation 666 back to the book of Daniel. I think it is fair to say, and I have heard many say it, this prophesy is the most misunderstood of the bible. Most scholarly studies have exhaustive texts, tying this text to that, to try to prove a point, or explain its meaning. These efforts are like chasing the wind, they will never catch its meaning or hold its Truths. Know this, God is Love. Here is a Truth, He Loves you and me. (not) Sorry to offend scholars, but His Truths, like His Love for us, are simple. If Knowing Him required education, wealth, power, position, or any CONDITION that is not common to all of us, He could not Love all of us, and we ALL could not Know Him. We can never understand God, so the search to have a Relationship with Him based on what we have learned of Him is like chasing the wind. Although that kind of search seems valuable, it will never end.
What does 666 mean? Search your heart, not your mind, if you Know Him. Seek Him with all of your heart, if you don’t Know Him yet. The quote from Revelation uses these two words significantly, “wisdom”, and “insight”. Wisdom is the combination of knowledge and experience. Insight, is the Spirit of God, in us, our Counselor, who is Truth. To Know this mystery we must have both wisdom and the Spirit of God in us.
It is not a coincidence that in the book of John, chapter 6, verse 66 it says this, “From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.” This verse is the pivotal point in the life of Jesus. He preached, He spoke, He prayed for people to have ears to hear and eyes to see, but they did not. Even His own close disciples doubted, and did not “get” what He was saying. Why did they leave Him? They heard a hard teaching, they were grumbling, and Jesus asked, “does this offend you?”. Before this, He spoke in parables, and he performed miracles. At John 6:66 He gave them the straight Truth, and they deserted Him. He said, “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you and put up with you?” Jesus knew He had to die, defeat Satan, and ascend to the Father, so that the Father would then give the Holy Spirit to them and to us so that we could have the very same Relationship with the Father that Jesus did. The only way that can happen is if we receive the Father’s Spirit in us, just as Jesus did. Have I offended with the Truth? It is not our knowledge, it is our hearts, our Living Relationship with Him that matters to the Father. But there it is, I have said it. It is not what we know, it is Who we Know. It is as simple as that.
Here is a bible verse to document this. John 7:37, “On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.”
And another, John 16:7, But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.”
And another, John 16:13, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”
And another, John 17:20, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”
So, do you want to know what Revelation 13:15-18 means? If you have received the Spirit of our Lord, open your ears and hearts. Revelation 15-18: “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.”
The number of man is 666. The number of God is 7. 666 is the closest you can get to God possible, and yet NOT be God. It is the greatest deception. The greatest of everything that is NOT of God: fear, lies, addiction, desperation, and everything that appears good but is false, says there is no God, and man is his own god. It is those things that are not of God that people do in the name of God, thinking they are doing Him a service, but in Truth, proclaiming man as god, and damning themselves for eternity.
Using words to describe things of the Spirit is difficult. And I will need many posts, to follow, here to totally explain what I am about to say briefly. Technology what created by man, and has evolved, and is evolving greater each day, even to the point where it is now “intelligent”, which is thinking and doing for man so he/she doesn’t have to, or better than man can so it makes economic sense to use it rather than a man or women do do a task. What is the motive for this? Is it of God? No, it is for profits, not prophets. What is the value of a life? With each advance in technology, that value decreases. This is a dangerous thing. Just as when man figured out how to make a nuclear explosion and to weaponize it, technology being made a necessity to life is a worse explosion that is about to devastate mankind. Man is not wise enough to know , just because we CAN do a thing, it may not be best to do that thing. The results of the effects on life itself have not been evaluated, to see its cause and effect, how it has changed the moral code of society, of families, of the value of an individual life itself. The laws of the world have been based fundamentally on the fact that life itself is more valuable than anything of this world. That code has changed, and the media has not published it yet. And just because the media hasn’t published something doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. And if it has, those results have been hidden, because the negative effects and harm cannot be disclosed, since now we have no choice, we cannot turn back, we cannot remove it or not use it, since it is now woven into every life on the planet in many, many ways. The bottom line is, God created man, in His image, period.
So then, who is the Beast, or who are the beasts? The first, a man, an Anti-Christ, empowered by Satan to lead the people away from God, using every possible tool of deception Satan has. It doesn’t really matter who it is, but it will be someone with the spirit of the anti-Christ in him, having sold his or her soul to satan, which has happened over the ages. It is just that this time, it is near “the end of the age”. The second Beast is an artificial intelligent entity who holds all the information of the world, each person, transaction, etc, think way bigger than Watson. Note that the verse says, the second beast was given power to “give breath to the image of the first beast”. Just the image, not the beast itself, or himself. Again, deceiving the people with technology, which has become so advanced, and we have applauded those advances every step of the way. Again, this calls for wisdom, just because we can do a thing, doesn’t mean we should do a thing. The Image forced all people… to receive a mark of the beast. The mark is the name of the beast or the number of its name, the number of man (as his own god), 666. Its not about the exact number, it is what the number represents. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark, which is the technology placed on or in our bodies to be used for this purpose. At some point, it will be inevitable.
What I see that I am amazed most do not is this. Slowly but surely, as the internet is developed so that all can use it, the web will be in place to gather the world’s transactions. Your mobile phone and devices, and anything that you use to talk, text, or do anything that can be recorded is being stored on your profile somewhere and has been since 1994. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Assistance_for_Law_Enforcement_Act, It was part of the law created when the internet and their services were created and allowed to operate. When you receive the “mark”, mobile devices will not be needed, since that technology will be bio-verified, and everywhere you go, do, say, feel, and even think will be recorded to your profile. This will become necessary, since the internet now is not secure, and to eliminate the huge theft, fraud, etc. having everyone’s everything recorded will make sense, so the world and your money are safe again. No more cash, no transactions of any kind allowed without being recorded to your profile. Further, there will be a huge crash to the financial system that will require an economic marshal law. The old system will be trashed. No more banks. All data will be fed (and is being fed now) to a system in Brussels, which is managed by the IMF (International Monetary Fund), think “Watson”. Each TV commercial I see for the IBM Watson project, I see that they are marketing Watson now, in a humorous way, friendly, so that man does not see it as a threat. I see IBM marketing this as something man should embrace, use, welcome, when what is really happening is Watson is slowly, incrementally, replacing man’s need for God, for answers, for reliance on God in many ways, for his moral compass and code, for even his identity, even his “daily bread”. It suggests that Watson can do everything it can do better than man in every way. Think of all the jobs that will be eliminated by the Watson project. Medical analysis, mechanical analysis, technical analysis, and so on, and soon man will abandon , from lack of use, the very act of analytical thinking, becoming dependent on Watson and system like this. This has already started, using mobile devices for everything we possibly can, why, because they make our lives easier and more productive? Projecting forward, perhaps even to the point that prayer and meditation will “appear” ( another deception) to become necessary.
Ever since the financial crash of 2008, central world banks have realized that they could not save the financial system, they could only place on it on life support long enough until the IMF could develop a replacement, not a cure for the old. There will be a huge financial crash soon. Then, out of necessity, which is required for the people to accept a huge change of this nature, they will eliminate all currencies, and issue one currency for everyone to use. They will change all currencies to one, called now the SDR. http://www.imf.org/external/np/fin/data/rms_five.aspx All corporate and personal debt has been recorded, and those credits and charges will be swapped, and re calculated, and added to each profile. Hence the phrase: “It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark”. First the new financial government will be enforced (or forced out of necessity of the world wide financial crash) , yet every nation will keep its governing authority, temporarily. And people will say, of course, what choice do we have, we must eat, and I want my money, which is now digital somewhere, and as long as we can continue to govern ourselves, why not. Here is why not. Once that control and system is in place, it will make sense for law and order for a completion of a one world government, with a new set of laws for the good of all nations. So first it is the giving up of personal privacy rights, which has already been done without the people’s consent in 1994, and is done in the fine print every time you use a mobile device or log on to the internet in any way, and even when you do not. And now that this technology system is a necessity, and not luxury, it can never be removed or not used. Second, will be the new financial system made necessary because of the crash, which may appear to be accidental, but will be planned and coordinated as the timing requires. Once that settles, a new world government will be installed. And all of this will take place seemingly, by appearances only (using skilled marketing and media controls) as a natural course, make sense because of the need, reduce or eliminate theft and war, and bring peace to the world. This all may seem a wise thing to do. Then God will not be God, man will not even be his own god, and technology and government will be the only god. The weakness of man, and the cold and hardness of his heart, will have placed Satan as god, which has been his goal from the beginning.
However, all of this will not happen in due course or completely. At first, all will seem well. However, at some point in this planned world wide changing process things will go bad, perhaps at the mid point, when the value of man and the life of a individual person becomes reduced by technology to a point where he is offended and expendable for the greater good. for example, perhaps plagues may happen, and, rather than jump to save lives, the “beast decides” (artificial intelligence) a reduction of the population will serve the greater good. Nations will rise against nations, and wars and rumors of wars will abound. Armageddon begins, and ends as it is told it will. It will not be an accident that astronomical events will take place at this time. For example, even if the earth is not destroyed by an asteroid direct hit, what if one passes by, its fragments coming as meteors, and its passing changes the moon’s rotation and distance from earth, changing our weather, tides, where sea levels rise and fall, and the tossing of the seas cause hearts to faint. I could go on and on with possibilities, and they are just that, and only that. But they are possible.
God created man to enjoy the earth and life is a gift from God, to be cherished and valued among all else. Jesus said, the flesh counts for nothing. When “the flesh” becomes more important than the gift of life from God, more important than our Relationship with Him, then God’s wrath will come on the entire earth. These events are not on man’s calendar. Trying to time them is like chasing the wind. Let God be God, Love Him, Trust Him, and let everything else happen as it should, in His time. Revelations from God are not imperical. There are perceived and Known by His Spirit. They are not “conditional”, just as His Love for us is without condition, and unconditional. If he reveals something to you, keep it in your heart, until He lets you know it should be shared, and to who. I hope that this post has encouraged your faith. Many people chase these mysteries as if they matter to their Relationship with the Father. They actually do not. They are given by Him for His purposes as a result of having a trustworthy Relationship with Him, not as a condition to it.
I have much more to share that I simply cannot do right now. I will try to share them in the near future. But do not let your Relationship with God depend at all on these things, lest you go astray. If this post does anything, let it call into focus the need for you to Know Him each day, and walk with Him, moment by moment, for no man knows the hours of these things, and you know not when your Lord will call you home to be with Him. With prayer and focus on pleasing Him daily, stay focused on Him and your simple Trusting Relationship first, and everything else will follow. Seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, for without Him you cannot survive this coming tribulation. May God bless you.
