What is faith? Faith is what: we EXPECT our future to be. Faith is whom: we place it in to get us there. There is a distinct and important difference, a fine line between a hope, a belief and a Knowing. What will your future be? Do you hope, believe or do U Know? Does God make a way for U, or do U make that way for yourself? Does who U R in this life, mater in the next? R U spirit, or just a random life form that winds up being just pile of dust? Jesus said, your faith will heal U. But that spiritual law has two edges to it. U either love, or U hate. U either go towards the light of God, or to the shadows. U R either honest with yourself and God, or U R a deceiver, to yourself, others, and Him.
U either accept the Truth, or R in constant denial. U R corrupt or trustworthy. U either compromise or offend. U R silent or U declare. U R asleep or awake. U live for this life or the next. U seek to Know God or U deny Him. U R humble or proud. U bow to His authority or R your own. There is no middle ground, no fence to sit on, no way to compromise, no place to hide. U choose, even though U kid yourself into thinking U R not choosing. Not choosing is a choice. Choosing is simple, do not complicate it. First, admit and own that there is no such thing as compromise when it comes to Truth, God, and your life. Then, seek God with all your heart, mind, and being. Let nothing distract or deceive U from Knowing Him more and more and more, because satan spends all his time doing just that.
John 6:44, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.”. God will draw U near to Him, and then when your heart is right before Him, He will give U His spirit, so that U R truly awake, forgiven, loved, have His power, and have that Knowing that only comes from having Him inside U, from the baptism that only He authorizes, grants and gives.
John 6:63-68: “ The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.” From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
Yes it is real, yes it is the holy wind and fire with evidence, and yes it is far greater than just believing, than water baptism, than anything else. That connection is the purpose of life. To reconnect with what you once had with Him in heaven. That’s why when U think of heaven it may feel like home. Life makes us forget, when He baptizes us with His Spirit, we remember it all. Life’s goal is to have what Jesus had in Him, His Holy Spirit, and everything else comes after and below that. Spirit recognizes spirit, and when we receive we wake up, and just Know. We don’t just believe, WE KNOW! So I ask again, what is Faith? Expect MORE, receive MORE, be MORE, Know Him! Jesus is the way, the only way, and He waits for you to ask Him for His help.
